NGS - Farley Hill Place Gardens
Time & Location
About the Event
Our friends Margaret and Tony Finch have their Garden Open on Sunday the 2nd of June for the National Garden Scheme from 2-5 pm. They are raising funds for nursing and health charities.
“It is a 4 acre, 18th century cottage garden with 1½ acre walled garden with year-round interest and colour. Well stocked herbaceous borders, large productive vegetable areas with herb garden, dahlia and cutting flower beds. Enjoy wandering around the garden, with spontaneous singing from a Barber's Shop Quartet. Victorian glasshouse recently renovated and small nursery. Plants, lovely cut flowers and produce for sale.”
Tony and Margaret tell us the roses are looking promising and there will be the usual delicious tea and cake and plant and Tombola stalls.
